This module is written for undergraduate students in the civil engineering field to learn the theory and practice of reinforced concrete design. Apart from the deep theoretical part, this module emphasizes on the case-by-case tutorials covering the design of beam, slab, staircase, and column based on Malaysian Standards to Eurocode 2 (MS EN 1992-1-1:2020), This module summaries the theoretical part and emphasize the case-by-case tutorials. In active learning mode, students have to find the information from any resources like textbooks, lecture PowerPoint slides, authentic websites, as well as videos on YouTube. This module contains 40 tutorial cases and is followed by 289 exercise questions. Every tutorial is followed by several exercises in order to strengthen the understanding, and induce the students' familiarity with design procedure, equations relevant coefficients, as well as proper detailing. Based on repeated similar exercises with different values of design parameters, students are expected to develop the 'engineering sense' for design.
